This klaf is handmade from lokta bush parchment, which is renewably harvested by cutting above the root so it can grow back by the next Spring. Ink we make from eild-harvested oak galls in Oakland Forest and found iron with traditional methods.
We bless them in a ritual where they are buried in the wilderness for 24 hours and davened over and the Sofer fasts while they are underground, they're unburied with more tehilim and then passed hand-to-hand oldest generation to youngest (usually just me to my kids, but sometimes more community comes along and we can get up to 4 generations).
